About Creation Birding

Contemplating God’s Handiwork

Creation Birding is a ministry whose purpose is to connect Bible-believing Christians who enjoy birding (“bird watching”) with each other so they can experience the joys of birding (and all that the Father made) together.

Primarily, this ministry is a means for like-minded people to get out into the field together to look at birds (and the other natural wonders at the places where we find birds) and then share their experiences.

I’ve been birding for 31 years now (see “My Bird List” page) and my desire is to share with others who see God’s handiwork; to share what we are experiencing in terms of the truth, in terms of what God has done through His creative hand.

With that said, the purposes of this web site are:

  1. Make this a place where Christians can organize bird-watching trips so that interested folks can participate.
  2. Make this a place where people can find, and sign up for, birding trips that we have planned.  (See the “Birding Field Trips Planned” tab.)
  3. Make this a place where birders can talk about the trips they’ve taken and what they’ve seen.

I am looking for folks who want to participate in the field trips we already have planned.  Please see the “Birding Field Trips Planned” link to the right.

I am also looking for Creation-minded Christians, all over North America who are willing to plan and lead bird-watching trips.

Also, if you’ve had an interesting experience with the birds or other things that God has made, please feel free to tell us about it in the “Your Birding Experiences” tab.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this ministry, so please feel free to comment, below.

If you’d like to contact me, for any reason, or if you would like to plan a birding trip, please email me at:

creationbirding@gmail.com

Blessings.

“Learning the wing’s structure and its terminology can have an added payoff, however, in increasing our sense of wonder.  The architecture of a bird’s wing is extraordinary – far more complex than any aircraft wing ever designed by humans, even if we can confine our gaze to the feather covering and ignore the bones and the system of muscles driving the bird’s flight.”  Kenn Kaufman; Field Guide to Advanced Birding; Copyright 2011

Saw your remark on the Birding Bunch and came over to check out your site. If you stop by mine, you will see we are both doing the same thing, but from a different angle. Keep up the good work and Lord bless.
